Ø WHAT IS SHORT FILM….?

Usually short films are motioned films whose runtime will be around 30 minutes including credits.

 

Ø WHAT IS THE USE OF SHORT FILM…?

Short films are done by beginners who like to be part of film industry and want to gain experience before they could step into the big shoes.

 

Ø WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A SHORT FILM?

The 1^st priority will be how good is the script .Let the script be trendy and easily understandable if you choose the stories which are already been said then   the viewers won’t be interested in your  short film.    

The 2^nd priority will be the casting based on the script try to cast the actors who can reach the through his/her acting. A bad actor can ruin your short film .

The 3^rd priority will be the cameras to be used usually short film makers prefer DSLR camera’s .If you shoot your short film in your phone camera then there will be no difference between a whatsapp videos and your  short film So try to be professional.

For recording the sound in the short films don’t use your recorder which is present in your mobile phone because when the viewers sees the feel there is no clarity in sound section and they will not understand any of your dialogue .And just imagine if the main dialogue through which you need to convince people about your story and the same dialogue hasn’t  been heard or if its not clear then your short film is of no use.

Lighting plays an major role in the films so don’t forget to use the lights wherever its required .And never your films show look dull and dark so use a good lights and brighten your film

The next priority will be the budget planning now carefully plan the budget and almost keep it low because short filmmakers don’t get a producers or a support from production homes and they have pay each and every expenses .So its better to keep it low so that it doesn’t become burden to the team.

Ø WHAT’S NEXT AFTER COMPLETING SHORT FILM…?

After completing your short film make sue you have hired a skill full editor .So that he can remove the unnecessary things in the film and adds glam up to the film and checks frame to frame that everything includes sound, lighting and direction is ok. If yes then you can create a channel in youtube and upload your shortfilm and wait for viewers to watch.
